Little Music Stars is an award-winning pre-school music and movement franchise designed especially for babies and toddlers aged 2 months to 4 years. Through music, movement and imaginative play, our classes help little ones build confidence, develop early skills and experience the joy of learning through music from their very first months.
In January 2026, Little Music Stars entered an exciting new chapter under the direction of Andrea Lynette-Young, who stepped into the role of Franchisor after successfully running the Manchester North franchise since 2020.
Andrea brings a unique blend of professional performance experience and over 25 years of teaching to the Little Music Stars community. She began her career at just 14 appearing on Coronation Street, before going on to perform across television, musical theatre and live entertainment. Her stage credits include the West End and major UK touring productions such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Hello Dolly, Annie, West Side Story and The Wizard of Oz.
Alongside her performing career, Andrea has spent decades working with children, families and communities through music, theatre and education. She is also Principal of PQA Bury, where she has spent the last 10 years leading and developing a thriving performing arts academy for 4–18 year olds.
Today, Andrea brings that experience, creativity and passion into every part of Little Music Stars. With original music, imaginative themes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, our classes create magical moments for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups — building confidence, friendships and a lifelong love of music from the very beginning.

I’m Katie, the former director and creator of Little Music Stars
Drawing from my 20 years in professional musical theatre, LMS was born out of my time in Los Angeles, California and I had a vision to create a one-of-a-kind children's music and movement curriculum. To bring this vision to life, I collaborated with my best friend Jeanne Friedman, along with two incredibly talented music producers and songwriters, Aron Friedman and Grammy Award winner Rich Jacques. Together, we carefully crafted Little Music Stars.
